This project involves an add-in for Microsoft Excel 2003. The user is able to install a toolbar for Excel that allows them to highlight rows in their spreadsheet and generate a number of random rows to a new Excel page based on the date range and number of results they enter. The scope:
**Functionality**
* Bar could be turned on or off by user like all other Excel toolbars, after installation
* See attached bitmap. Functionality would require the user to select a start date, end date, the number of results to return, whether the results are exclusive and the name of the output page.
* Start date and end date are calendar drop downs. Calendars should support years.
* Start date defaults to the OS current date
* Number of results text box should allow from 1 to 999 numbers
* Name should allow up to 24 characters (or what Excel allows)
* 8 Ball should be disabled until 1 or many rows are selected, dates are selected, # of results are input, and name is input
* When the 8 ball is pressed, a new page is generated returning the randomized results from the rows were selected on the current page. The data in the randomized rows are copied to the new page. The name of this new page in Excel is determined by what the user typed in the name text box. The user is taken to the new page upon generation. The new page is the randomized results and include an added column in the leftmost position. The values in this column reflect the random date in which the row was selected. A column header of "Results" in bold and underlined on first row should appear.
* It's not in the bitmap picture, but there would be another button (on the farmost left) that would spawn a helpfile (this would be a *.chm file that I would create). The button's image should be a question mark.
