Executable Simple Access program

Prepare an executable Access database program for customer sign-in and processing of used clothing in resale shop. Our store buys and sells gently used teen style clothing. To sell us clothes, customers bring them in bags, boxes or laundry baskets. After signing in on a clipboard and filling out paperwork, their bags and boxes are lined up behind the counter for employees to evaluate the clothing before making an offer. Our proprietary POS system handles the pricing and detailed customer info. However, when 10 customers come in at once, the bags & boxes pile up and we lose track of which bags go to which customers. The project will involve creating a simple log in system to replace the clipboard sign in. This process resembles the process a dry cleaner might use and will print bag labels, customer claim check, and certain maintenance items as described below. Access will NOT be installed on the workstations with the program. Text of labels and receipts will be provided upon acceptance of bid. DRAFT mdb attached to bid request now, with focus on the sign in fields and table needed. Coder does the rest. ## Deliverables One executable access database program using modules and VB script as needed, and the following elements (PLEASE don't bid if you don't have the toolkit and can't deliver an executable file): 1. Menu screen 2. Status screen (what customer is being served) 3. Main customer sign in screen (which will automatically print bag labels, customer claim check, and store copy when sign in complete) 4. Maintenance screen (employees can "check off" customers whose purchase is complete, or find customers from other times/days) 5. Day close report (list all customers signed in that day, and status) 5. Screen to export email addresses to a CSV file on the current drive for use in email marketing program. All input fields should have masks for formatting whenever possible. Screens for employee use only (maintenance, day close, email export) should be passworded or protected in some way. Sign in screen cannot show forward/back buttons to allow other customers to page through or edit other records. Program should be robust, considering the user will be 100 different customers per day, and 12 teenage employees. Include: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). Let me know if you can't read the mdb zip file. Had some trouble with it. ## Platform Must be able to function under Windows 98, 2000 and Windows XP. Labels will print to a networked Eltron LP2824 label printer; claim tickets can print to an Epson TM-T85 attached receipt and reports will print to a networked Okidata Microline 320. Drivers must be included with the completed installation package, but are readily available from manufacturer's or 3rd party websites. The program may be installed on fairly old "spare" boxes we have in the different stores, so keep as simple as possible, no memory hogs, special video, etc.
