Ning search PHP customisation

I have set up a social network using the hosted service provided by Ning ([login to view URL]). Ning enables anyone without any technical know-how to create a social network and alter many of its features and design easily via the admin interface. The PHP source code is also available for editing in order to achieve more specific customisation of individual social networks. What I am trying to achieve is as follows: Currently social networks built with Ning have only very basic search tools. The members' area can be searched but only via a free text keyword search. There is no advanced search at all. I would like to add an advanced search to my network that will enable members to find other members based on specific data that they have entered into their profile when signing up to the network. Examples of this data would be Gender and Location. I know this data is in the system and accessible because I can export it as a spreadsheet - so it's just a question of getting to it and then displaying it on a 'results' page. It will be a big advantage if you have experience of customising Ning php and can show examples. I also know of a few other Ning network owners who want this exact same work done so there would probably be potential to get more work from others once you have established how to achieve it on my network. I can provide more detail on request. I am not sure of the work involved so I am keeping the budget open and await some quotations. ## Deliverables I want the search tool (as described in the brief) to be up and running on a Ning network that I specify to the developer. The standard rentacoder terms: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
