Hello,
I have a php-application with some customer informations which is updated daily. This data has to be imported into an Access-database. Some of the data is changed/updated in Acces and has then to be transfered again back to the PHP-app.
I wonder which would be the best, simplest and easiest way to make import/export between Access and PHP.
Maybe with XML? Or is there some scripting language in Access which allows to write some small import/export script so that I can just point Access to some XML-file and it will import the data right into the correct Access-tables?
Let me know your opinion. I don't need a ready solution here, I need only advice and suggestions.
ADDITION:
I see there was a misunderstanding. Some people already wrote about using ODBC, but I don't need to using Access (instead of MySQL) with PHP.
The php-application is running on MySQL. And the Access-database is only on my desktop, it is completely separated from the PHP/MySQL app.
So, all I need is to import/export from that PHP/MySQL app to/from Access. I hope it is clear now.
