Looking someone to transfer Live MAgento site to local computer. I already have copy of the backup of the life site downloaded and installed. First page of the website comes up but then when I click to links non of them works. Website that I downloaded was using ssl . Also needs to change the template 1. Website installed on WAMP local server.

Alright, here is what i am going to do for you: I guess there are two places you need to notice: 1, check the database, find the core_config table, change the site url in the table 2, make some modification on your .htaccess file, make sure your apache server is supported for htaccess file and url rewrite Glad to help you, lets work out the problem.
