dropdown selection to change content in tab - joomla - repost

I have a page that has 4 tabs for user to fill in information. In the 2nd tab there is a category dropdown list that user must select. The category selected in this dropdown will change a part of the content in the 3rd tab. I need help to make a part of the 3rd tab change base on this category dropdown using ajax. It must not reload the page. Once a person choose from the dropdown list the 3rd tab should automatically change to the correct fields and ready for him to enter details when he click on it. The data of fields will be provided. Please see picture to have an idea.
