I need a java applet to add to my new website. The input to the applet is stock ticker and date range (say from Dec 1, 2005 to today). The code should retrieve the stock's hitoric data (price, volume, open, close, high, low) from yahoo finance data server. This is a free data feed. I am interested only in the daily data (no intraday, weekly, etc). When the stock's historic data is retreived, I want a window to be generated with four graphs on it. The top graph should show the close price as a line chart for the date range I entered. the one below should show the volume as a bar chart, the one below should show price multiplied by volume and the one below should show price divided by (volume + 1) to avoid any case of dividing by zero. For this project, I want to get the compiled code working and bug-free and the full source code so I customize it and I enter my own indicators. I may seek additional help hen I am ready to customize this code furthr. If I am happy with the code and the service, future business relationship may be established as I launch my new web service business.
