Customizing Gallery plugin for Wordpress

[login to view URL] This is a very simple WP project. I need to update the Gallery part only (projects & furniture) -Each of them show projects (albums) and inside each album you will see photos. each photo opens in a lightbox. -Website is responsive -We have used Gallery plugin for this website. -Featured Image is being used for the album cover photos. Requirements: 1. Currently my biggest problem is that photos are being stretched, like the first photo here [login to view URL] When the admin upload photos (which can be any dimension), I need the photo thumbnails to have the same height but a flexible width, depending the photo dimension. For example if you upload a vertical photo or a horizontal photo, their thumbnails will be automatically resized with the same height size but each one will take its own width size (so horizontal photos will usually have smaller wdith than vertical photos) This should be applied on all levels (projects+subpage, furniture+subpage) (Check attached images for more visual explanations) 2. I need to make sure the arrows are working well and smoothly like a slide show, moving smoothly when you click on then. I think there is a javascript conflict. 3. The featured image should not be inside the album, it should be independent and showing as the album thumbnail photo linked to its subpage (if not complicated)
