Image refresh script for mobile website

BRIEF: We are developing a small mobile website for webcam monitoring. WHAT WE NEED: We need to create a very simple script that will allow users to watch and reload the snapshots from the webcam. It is very important that the code is light and highly compatible with most smart phones. This is a very simple code but we need a precise and adequate solution for this. REQUIREMENTS: - You can employ any scripting language you suggest/master. - Our website is PHP. ASP is not an option. - Image is supposed to be static (snapshot). It must not be automatically reloaded. - Users should be able to refresh the image by request (i.e. clicking “reload image”). - We do not want the entire website to be reloaded, only the image. - Image reload must work every time the user hits reload. Take note of browser caching. - Website should be cached (avoid use of NO-CACHE Meta tags). - Reloading process must show an icon with a spinning “reloading” icon. We will provide the GIF. - The reloading button must be disabled for 15 seconds after it is used to reduce bandwidth. - While the button is disabled, it must turn grayish or pale. - Next to the button, it must show the time the picture was taken. OPTIONAL REQUIEREMENTS: (these are optional because we don’t know if this is possible in BB’s) - Current image fades to white while reloading process takes place. - Use of AJAX-like animations/transitions is much appreciated, but we understand that compatibility is very limited in Blackberries. We need some consulting in this matter and we are open for suggestions. COMPATIBILITY PRIORITY: - Blackberry is the very top priority, following iPhone 3G, Nokia N Series, and Android. - Blackberry priority is as follows: Curve 8520, Bold, Curve 8300, Pearl and Javelin. COMMENTS: - Every ten seconds the webcams upload and replace the images trough FTP. - We will provide design, images, colors, etc. Only coding is needed. - We are looking for Excelent quality, Clean work, and punctual, serious people. - After this function is finished we want to continue developping others, probably with you.
