[login to view URL] Travel Olio ("the site") is a travel site, which is going to be an informational resource for those looking to travel or just learn about destinations. The site structure will break down by: Geography: continent, country, and specific destinations Hotels: This section will have well known hotels in major destinations, but will expand to additional hotels as well as destinations Attractions: this section will provide a directory of attractions and landmarks and will be geographically and topically (architecture, theme parks, etc) categorized. Travel Articles: this section will have categorized articles which will be organized based on type of travel (adventure, luxury, etc) and type of destination (tropical, exotic, etc). It should be possible to add new categories for future expansion. destinations by country/city hotels by type (continent/country/city) exotic historical super luxury unusual and unique top destinations attractions by continent/country/city archaeologically significant historically significant architecturally significant birthplace of important people culturally significant scientifically significant Politically significant articles will have category, sub category 1. each of the above sections will be database driven a. each database entry will have an independently customizable set of options: i. title (web page title) ii. meta description iii. article/page heading iv. content v. link (this is the text of the link that will appear in the navigational structure or automatically generated body link). vi. option to include it as part of the navigation or not vii. url text...this field will be used to determine the url name of a particular section, page, article, etc. 2. the url structure of the site will be revised using ModRewrite. If you believe this project will take more than 10-15 days, you have not understood the specs. I can build it myself in about 4 days (and have built similar sites in such time), but do not have the time to allocate to it. So before you give me an outrageous bid and an unrealistically long completion time, please make absolutely sure you have understood what we are requesting. This is not a gigantic project. It is a simple, database driven, informational website. If there is something about the specs that makes you feel it would take longer than what I'm expecting to build this, please send me a message letting me know why. I may have unknowingly misrepresented something in the specs that is making this project seem much bigger than it really is, and I would like to correct that. Thank you.
