This request for a bid is for a modification to a widely available GPL gallery script that is based on PHP. The modification will consist of creating a simple user registration, then a ‘virtual lightbox’ for the gallery which allows logged in users to save images into a virtual favorites or lightbox for later viewing. Since this will reside on a stock type site, the logged in user should also be able to send a simple email or request that includes the image names from their lightbox as well as a simple text message. Also, the script needs to be modified slightly to allow for subcategories and a simple search on keywords. The modification must be simple to use and not expect the user to jump through hoops to register. If it utilizes javascript, it must (and this is important) be cross-platform compatible (Mac/PC) and work with of least vers. 4.0+ browsers. It would also be good if it was built so that any future upgrades to the base script don’t break it. Hightlights: 1. User registration 2. image lightbox 3. email image request 4. keywords added 5. search 6. subcategories 7. cross-platform compatibility
