6 Modifications to Joomla Component

Our website lets users register for running events. We need some modifications to the functionality of the site. The changes are outlined below. The website is here: [login to view URL] We are using a component called Event Booking which is where these modifications need to be made. 1. Back button on group registration pages: [login to view URL] When registering a group add a 'back' button to let the user go back and modify registrants they have already entered. The button should be available on all registration pages to the final confirmation. Using the back button should not delete information that has already been entered. The back button should not show the "Confirm form resubmission" error that browsers show, it should just bring up the previous screen with all the same information that the user just entered. On the current confirmation page there is a back button, but it doesn't work properly, should work as described above. 2. Limit Sub Events by date Most events have a custom field for sub events. These are like '5K Run', '10K Run', 'Kids Run', etc. We need a way for the administrator to turn off sub events at a certain date, so they don't show up in the list. For example '5K Run' would only be open until 3-30-2014. If a sub event does not have a date then it should always be open. Sub Events past the date will not show up on the front end list. It should be easy to add dates to avoid user error. Maybe a calendar field with an 'add' button. So the user chooses the date, and clicks 'add' to add the date. 3. Assign 'Early Bird Discount' by sub event When admin creates a new event they can add 'Early Bird Discounts' for sign ups by a certain date. For example, -$10 if someone signs up by 3-30-2014. We need to apply these dates per sub event. There are three discount dates, next to each one should be check boxes for the available sub events. If they are unchecked then the discount will not apply for that sub event. This will need to be applied to the front end billing so that the correct price is calculated when people register. 4. Coupons by sub event Admin can create coupons for each event. We want to let them also assign these by sub event. When creating a coupon the admin first selects the event, then check boxes appear for each available sub event, should be checked by default. The admin can uncheck these to make them not apply to certain sub events. This should be carried through the checkout process so that the coupon is only applied to the selected sub events, and the total is calculated correctly. If group registration is used then the coupon should only be applied to registrants signing up for the allowed sub events. In this case there should be a message to the user saying 'This coupon is only applicable to some registrants.' 5. Change calculation for group registration rate. The component allows adding different rates for different numbers of group registrants. For example 2 Registrants = $20/person, 4 Registrants = $10/person, etc. This doesn't work with custom fee fields, since sometimes the price for a race is $0.00, but the total will be more depending on custom fields. For group rate we need to be able to add negative numbers, and the amount will be added/subtracted from the total price of the race. So instead of replacing the race price, this is added/subtracted to the total including custom fee fields. Needs to calculate properly on the front-end. 6. Add Package Prices For each event we need to create package prices. For example 'Family Pack for 5K (4 people) $60'. For each pack the admin adds: Package Name, # people, price, allowed sub events. Can create multiple packs per event. On front end these show up as registration buttons. When clicked it will go to the group registration pages and allow the set number of people to register. The sub event field should be filtered based on the allowed sub events. The cost should be calculated normally based on the package price.
