Hello, We have a active social network that allows people the ability to register and create a free website that will display on our network as a sub-domain. When a user registers they can select from about 30 existing free site template. The free template sites are very basic. They all have the same layout structure (just with different colors and minor changes). *All of the templates are free for the user to use. However we would like to begin signing up professional designers that will have the ability to create custom templates that will be 'premium' templates and thus cost a small fee for the users to select and use. This is a similar concept to WordPress: you have your free themes, then you can order premium themes at a cost. So here's what we need: We would like to create a new user account type on our network (designer). This 'desgner' would be able to register on our network and gain access to a website builder; similar to Tumblr or Wix. This designer's role would be to build template sites using a website builder. Once the new website template has been created the designer would be able to set two prices for the template (one price to order the template, the 2nd price would be to 'buy out' the template and therefore removing it from the available list). For example: $15.00 to use the template (but it would remain so others could also use it), and $150.00 'by out' price so once it is ordered it would be removed from the template selections and no one else could order it. Other requirements: Each designer that registered would have access to their own account where they can review all template designs they have created and create new templates, review any sales that have been made, create a public designer profile, respond to messages from their designer inbox, and withdraw the funds they have made for sales. *We already have these modules created for other users, just not a designer user. Therefore much of this can be created using the existing coding. Once completed a newly registered user will be able to view two list of templates for their website; Free templates and Premium templates. If the user selects a premium template it will be added to their shopping cart. Then once they have completed the registration the user can proceed to checkout. We have a billing gateway that we use on the site, so this should be fairly easy to add. Communication requirements: I try to be as detailed as possible to avoid any potential problems. Therefore I need good communication. I can show you exactly how the system works now and exactly how it need to be changed. Therefore I am looking for someone that can offer quality work, good response time, and good communication. We would like the website builder tool to be simply, yet offer some very flexible options. Similar to Tumble site builder or Wix. Once last comment: We have a lot of projects and we are always seeking highly skilled PHP developers to work with for long-term projects. However we often run into problems with developers requiring more and more money for every job and it eventually becomes no longer cost effective for us as we work with various clients and have a budget for each one. Therefore we need an honest hard working and highly skilled developer that can maintain consistent rates. If you are that person then we can give you full time work.
