Perl Posting Script (additional functionality)(repost)

Hey there, this is a private bid between you and I for added functionality to the system you've already put into place. This project, if agreed to by both parties will ideally begin as soon as the other is finished. More details shortly. ## Deliverables For this project you'll be implementing new functionality to the existing posting system you've created. The new functionality is specied below, but here's a short list: -Profile posting -Rss aggregation -RPC pinging (to ping services such as ping-o-matic) ****Profile posting**** Needs to be able to post links to popular community sites. For example notice the following page: [login to view URL] click "login" in the upper left-hand corner u:schnibitz p: teddybool Click on "schnibitz" upper left. click on "Edit profile" upper right. Notice the "URL" field. That needs to have a URL that I will specify from a page in your system. What I'm looking for is a way to create a "profile project" sort of like I do with your article posting system, where I will specify a URL that I'd like to have posted up to this service. BUT There's hundreds of sites that are all part of this community platform, all with the same form field ID's and etc. Ideally this would work like the article posting service you created where I can specify projects and scenarios. So if you create a scenario for one of these, it would be simple for me or anyone else to create more scenarios for the other sites that are out there. This is for a single type of community platform. I'm going to send to you three types of community platforms. I'd like scenarios created for all three types, and I'll use each of those scenarios to help me build scenarios for any other sites that are similar to those three scenarios. I'd need to be able to specify the number of links to spread around per day. Here's what I'd suggest . . . After you log into the autoposter system you created, instead of being shown all of the options we see now, make that reachable by clicking on a link that says "post articles". then create another link on that same page called "post URL's to Profiles". So When you click on that second link, it takes you to a page that isn't unlike the front page you'd see if you had clicked on the "post articles" link. So it looks like this: Login |-------->post articles->projects,site logins,users,logs,logout |-------->post urls to profiles ->projects,site logins,users,logs,logout I'm only suggesting this as a layout, if you have a better way to lay it out, I'm good with that too. As with the last project the interface is VERY basic. ****RPC Ping**** Should be some way of notifying sites like ping-o-matic (but not ping-o-matic itself) that the profile page was created by sending a few services the URL, and a keyword that I'd associate with the project. I have some code I can contribute for that, but I suspect you won't find it useful because my code is ugly.
