65467 UPS and Trucking Estimator

We sell equipment online. UPS Calculator :Many items are able to ship UPS. Many items are on the heavy end of UPS shippability. We need a UPS shipping calculator that we can add to our order form or product pages where the user adds the item weight and their zip code. It calculates the shipping charge, then can be added into the order form. We do not use a shopping cart. We use javascript order forms. Primarily we use one that populates from a "buy now" button. The user can change the quantity and re-subtotal. We want a small window pop-up shipping calculator enabled from a button on the product page and the order page. The results of the shipping calculator could be populated into the order form, or having the user enter it in manually from the result of the popup calculator would be acceptable. Please advise if this needs to be tied to UPS or could be a stand-alone tool. Shipping quotes do not have to be exact, just not under what our cost will be and not much more as we do not profit from shipping. TRUCKING SHIPPING COST CALCULATOR: As with the UPS system, we want to make sure we don't loose money on trucking, but we want to keep our shipping charges close-to but not under our trucking costs. As with the UPS calculator above, we want the customer/website visitor to be able to enter the weight and zip code and get a result that can either populate or be entered into the order form. We ship pallets and shipments weighing between 80 lbs to 2,000 lbs. from many locations in the US and Canada. Each shipping location contracts with trucking companies which yield differing % discounts. Yellow Freight is the large outfit, and we suppose the calculator could be tied to their quotes but the trouble is that their undiscounted quoted amounts are ridiculously high. Maybe the Yellow shipping cost with an average discount could be the basis of the calculator. We are open to suggestions. Please advise, including sample calculators or "similar-to" references. We'll expect full help getting the tool installed and working smoothly. As well we need you to be able to be reached in the future for tweaks or modifications.
