iPhone Application: Social Networking

We're building an iPhone application that is social networking in nature (with a twist) and which is also location aware. Note that this is not just another "Loopt", "Whrrl", "Zintin", etc...? We're looking for a rockstar iPhone developer who can jump on this project (which is about 25% complete already) and work with us to deliver a completed app in a short space of time. ## Deliverables I'm working on an iPhone application and hired another developer to work on phase 1 of the project. I'm not fully satisfied with their work, and so am considering bringing on another developer to replace them for the last two phases. You'll need to sign an NDA to work on this project, please be aware and comfortable with this. Core skills, apart from being a rockstar iPhone app developer: 1) My app needs to integrate a Microsoft Virtual Earth map, including being location aware, pinch zooming, pushpin location markings, etc.. 2) The app talks to a SQL Server 2005 database over the air - be comfortable with that level of integration, we'll be providing all the backend infrastructure 3) We've hired a UI designer with whom you'll need to work to integrate their design into your code. For the right developer, we'll pay well and provide ongoing work. We are C#/.NET developers ourselves - just need to get an application to market before we have time to become sufficiently expert in Xcode/ObjC. We'll provide you with the code written thus far, plus a detailed specification describing functionality, and mocked up screenshots for each page. To help you gauge the level of work here, there are four main pages, one of which is a "My Profile" page, another page is a set of options, and the main page has a Virtual Earth (not Google) map. This represents the fundamental basis of the application. We'll expect you to have the test resources to ensure a high quality release across iPhone v1, v2 and iPod Touch. We are looking to get this product to market expeditiously. We are working on the backend as we speak, and we have a million dollar (five letter) .com domain name to back the project up. This is your opportunity to work on a project that will receive considerable exposure, as well as position yourself for ongoing work in this space. I'm going to post the bid at an attractive price, but since a big chunk of the application is done (profile creation, location awareness, uploading data to SQL DB, and some of the mapping), I expect it to come in at an attractive price.
