I run a golf site that includes an odds comparison section that details bookmakers' odds for 72-hole and 18-hole matches. Examples can be found here: [login to view URL]; [login to view URL]; [login to view URL] The coder who developed this a few years ago has not been available for over a year and so the code is in need of renovation as the xml feeds and sites are constantly being updated. As a result, odds from only two bookies (5Dimes and Stan James) are working properly each week for each of the above three pages. Odds from some bookies are being displayed on some of the above pages, but not all, and odds are not being displayed at all for some bookies. I've attached the existing files that are relevant to this project - those in the [login to view URL] archive are contained in the /private folder on the server. I'm not a coder, so I've simply copied the files that I think are relevant, so some of them may be irrelevant to this project, some may not be included in the attachment. Please let me know and I will update the attachment. Please let me know your hourly rate for this type of work and provide a rough estimate of the time that will be needed for this project. This will be an ongoing working relationship with maintenance of the code necessary on a periodic basis once this particular project is complete. Please list any experience of scraping odds from xml feeds and feel free to ask questions for more specific information. Thanks Tony

Hi Tony, I have done sports odds betting for Australian Rules football and have the experience needed for this. I've done work related to a golf site but that was for adding geographic data (for finding golf partners) but anyway, somewhat relevant as I am used to the terminology. I looked through the sites you want the odds data taken from and I can do what you asked, I have no problem taking over from the previous programmer and getting started in getting the sites odds that are not working properly, working. I took a look through the code in your attachment as well.
