We are looking to get a complete purchase order system implemented into a heavily modded oscommerce, qt pro shopping cart. osCommerce experts only, we know osCommerce very well but simply do not have the time to do this. This mod must be delivered and tested by Dec 1 so if that deadline does not work for you, do not apply. Please with your bid include some custom projects you have done for osC in the past (not just contribution installation) and details for them, this will be a great help in deciding which freelancer to go with. There may be minor tweaks to this so please include an hour of "tweak time" in your bid just in case.
This Purchase Order system would include:
-Database table called purchase orders with 4 statuses (new, archived, ordered and received)
-Create a new file called purchase orders in the administration area of osC linked in the Catalog section. This file would have links to 1- create new purchase order, 2- View non-finalized purchase orders, 3- View ordered purchase orders, 4- view received purchase orders
Create New Purchase Order:
-this file would list all products (with file setting of active/inactive product), by manufacturer. This list would be list and be sortable by stock, price, cost, name and model number displaying how many are currently in stock in each size (remember qt pro) with a checkbox and quantity box next to each product combination. The checkbox would be automatically be marked if a quantity is made in the box, if that number is removed, the check would disappear, if the box is checked and no product quantity is is the box an error would pop up saying "Did you mean to order ---list product name here, repeat if necessary---.
-The ability to add products from this list with a quantity box and submit button at the end of the page to a new or existing non-finalized purchase order (only one archived or new order per manufacturer at a time) with corresponding purchase order archived in database
-Document "ordered, date and p/o number" in each product (new field created in database called p/o status) with quantity and size ordered.
-A comments section for notes
-Buttons to archive (keep available for editing), cancel (with a confirm button before deleting) or order button (this would require a date written to the database and a box for inputting manufacturer order or confirmation number)
-The ability to retrieve purchase orders by manufacturer and date.
View non-finalized purchase orders:
-The ability to retrieve and edit non-finalized purchase orders.
-The settings of non-finalized, ordered and received to each purchase order.
-Buttons to archive (keep available for editing), cancel (with a confirm button before deleting) or order button (this would require a date written to the database and a box for inputting manufacturer order or confirmation number)
-The ability to retrieve purchase orders by manufacturer and date.
Ordered purchase orders:
-The ability to retrieve purchase orders by manufacturer and date.
-Buttons to receive, cancel (with a confirm button before deleting).
Received purchase orders:
-The ability to add/remove items from an ordered p/o (in the case that some item was backordered from the manufacturer).
-The ability to add any item not received on this order to a new purchase order, in the case that two or more items by the same manufacturer are backordered or if there is already a purchase order created in archived or new states, they would get added to the same purchase order.
-Buttons to duplicate, cancel (with a confirm button before deleting) or stock button (would restock all all items contained in the purchase order (in corresponding sizes, etc) with a single button click.
-Delete the "ordered, date and p/o number" in each product where it was noted with this purchase order number.
