Hi I'm trying to overlay on a PAL video a number sent as ASCII through RS232(serial) using Arduino and Max 7456 board. It's been done/ tested but for NTSC(probably the libraries are different for PAL) here [login to view URL],[login to view URL] With this code nothing is overlayed, just the clean video. With another code, same library is overlaing what it should but only once i turn off the video source. I have all the hardware required (i think) The easiest way would probably be for somebody based in Aberdeen, UK. Any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Regards

Hi, Though I am not located in UK, we can have teamviewer session to debug this issue. I did such debugging on several projects before. I have uno board but not maxim 7456 board. As this is standard SPI communication, there is no special or complexity about this communication. We need to debug serial reception, frame buffer population and then finally sending data to max card. With a remote session and guidance on visual feedback we can quickly solve this issue. Thanks!

Hello mate, I don't have that shield but, what exactly do you with the video? Maybe these is another suitable solution? I can code the overlay with the max7456 for sure, but I am asking since I don't have that board.
