configure oscommerce at new site location

I need to someone to tie up the loose ends on my oscommerce installation. I have moved the whole site to a new server and have got the joomla side up and running but just need the online store configured now. The whole store is already uploaded and in place and I am just getting a password error for the database. I think this just may be a matter of adjusting the includes/configure file to find the database but I can't seem to get this to work. I would assume this would be a very quick job for someone with experience configuring oscommerce so I hope it is not too small a job.
