playstation status api - repost 2

I am looking to build a new or tweak on some existing open source a scripts utilizing Sony's PlayStation Network API. The basic deliverable is a single script using PHP, XML to show when a playstation network user comes online and time stamp it, show what game user is playing and when user goes offline, time stamp it. There is plenty of existing snippets and information about this on the web but I have not found a solid script to pull the basic user information over using xml.
