remote login to Amazon using curl / php

I've made myself a test project to log in to [login to view URL] using cURL and PHP, but after hours of going in circles, I think I have to admit defeat. I need somone to get the script working and explain what was wrong with it to me, aswell as how to modify it, ie. how to change it to work on other parts of the site, not just the login, As well as the below script I also downloaded my Amazon cookies and placed them in the same directory as the PHP in a file called '[login to view URL]' I shouldnt think this would take more than an hour or so, to get working and commented so i understand it, Background - im running the script in php 5.4 Im aware that there may be an api for this, but its not for that, im just doing the project so i understand curl a bit better ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
