Hello, I have an Access database online with my web-hosting comapny which I use to store the data from my web site guest-book, mail-list, etc. I have another copy of the database on my local PC. Up until now to get any new entries from the online version to the offline version, I have been emailing myself a copy of the database using FileSystemObjects then saving the emailed file to my hard-drive and manually importing the relevant info to my local, offline copy of the database. I would like to automate this process so that I can click a button on my local copy of the Access database, and the application will automatically check the contents of the online version of the database, and if there are any new entries since the last time that the file was checked, then these new entries would be automatically downloaded and appended to my offline, local version of my database. I am after either complete solutions, or would consider anything that you may be able to provide to perform at least part of the overall task as described. Note - Additional Information: Just to clarify my requirements, I am looking for a desktop application to be developed which will reside on my local PC. Every morning when I come in to work, I will connect to the Internet via my dial-up modem, and then I will start-up the application to be developed under this tender, and I will be able to click a button (or similar) on the application to have the application go and retrieve from the ONLINE Access database hosted with my Web-hosting company (different to the ISP that I use for dial-up modem connection) any new entries since the last time it was checked, and these new entries will be added to my desktop application without me having to do anything else. The database would be anywhere from 500K to 5Mb, and there may be anywhere from a few to a couple of hundred new entries per night. Thanks Roger
