Convert VBScript to VB.NET

I need to combine two VBS files to a single VB.NET executable with minor changes. The first VBScript file finds an excel file in current directory and inserts the filename of the file into a column for each row. This needs to stay the same however a date/time stamp needs to be appended to the end of the filename value in the excel sheet. The second script converts the excel file to a flat file. This works perfectly, however I need two additions. First, I need the flat file delimited by a pipeline |,(note in the file the spaces should be there, this is important to loading into database) and at the end of each row need a \n to be placed. Second, I need a record count to be placed on first line of the flat file of the of the records in the excel file. After the conversion to flat file, another record count needs to be made and place that value on the top line as well. I've attached a file as an example. This needs to be a VB.NET executable, no interface or windows, just execute it and it should do it's job. I need this really quick, 24 hr turn around time. Please ask me if you have questions.
