Ace PHP Coder wanted to takeover/finish an incomplete property/real-estate directory script

THE PROJECT Finish a property/real-estate directory script. My current programmer due to time constraints has been unable to finish the project. The project is about 65-70 percent done. Note, not everything will be the same, it’s just an example of some of the functionality. Please read the full project specifications in the attached file. Keep in mind that most of the program is done, but some things need to be modified and some of the functionality needs to be added into it. So you are definitely not starting from scratch – there has been a good month to month and half of coding work done on the site. I’d say about 5-10 days are left, depending how good you are. Probably 10 or so days of pure full time coding, then the rest of the time making small changes and tinkering. You will also be responsible for integrating the code into the final layout design (the current one is just a beta/dummy layout) that is being created. Again, keep in mind this project is mostly done. Most of the features are there, the database is there (and populated with working entries), most of the pages are there. REQUIREMENTS You have to be able to read and understand someone else’s code and be able to pick off where he left off. Must have experience in PHP, MySQL, Ajax, javascript, HTML, CSS, and have working knowledge of the Google Map API. I'm looking for a good coder who's fast, does quality bug testing (I don’t want to be spending a good deal of time debugging YOUR work), and can write scalable code that’s optimized. Your code should work with a data set of 1000 just as easily as it should a database of 100,000. You have access to the original coder so you can ask questions be walked through the code. I can also explain what needs to be done in detail. Fluent English is an absolute must. WHAT SCRIPT DOES The script does the following: allow people to search through a custom database of property listings in Thailand. The database (for now) is added from the backend, but we do want support for the public to be able to add property listings to the directory as an option. The script is tied in with google api. Addresses and long/lat are taken from google local/maps and stored in the directory. Each page has clickable google map points. The database consists of apartment/condo buildings with each building having units. The user can search all of Thailand for the results. The user can also access special city, neighborhood, and building pages which give a list of all unites/buildings under them. Like any real-estate property script, this script is to help the user browse through real estate listings. The actual unit pages will show all the relevant information (which of course is imputed into the database when the unit is listed), including: • A Google map location • The various amenities the apartment has • Nearby points of interest • Real estate agent profile • Pictures of the apartment • Links to the building page that unit is part of • links to the neighborhood the building is listed in The building will also have special “overview” pages for the country, the provinces, the cities, the neighborhoods, and the buildings themselves.
