We are redesigning sthelenas1712.org. We will provide the site design in Fireworks PNG format. You will be responsible for building templates from the design using CSS. Then building all functionality as described below. We are looking for someone who will provide input along the way for functionality we may have overlooked. You will do the initial flow charts and wireframes for the site. We would like to use CMS Made Simple ([login to view URL]) for the content management system, but we are open to Joomla. Please let me know if you have questions about the requirements. Planning- Sitemaps and flow charts will be created to develop the navigation and structure for the site. Detailed wireframes are developed to determine the content and formal structure for each page. This will ensure that all parties are in agreement before the programming begins. Full Content Management System (CMS)- This is the actual building of the web site and covers programming the pages for the site, entering the information on each page, and creating a content management system which will allow you to update the information on your site at your convenience. The CMS is a permissions-based system which allows each admin user the ability to update specific areas of the site without having access to everything. Photography, videos and content to be provided by the client. Calendar of Events- An event calendar will be created to allow St. Helena’s to post upcoming events to the website. It will be in list format one week at a time, similar to what is on the site now, but managed through the CMS. This will also allow site visitors to register and pay fees (if any) for upcoming events. This system will also allow you to reserve rooms for events and ensure that rooms aren't double booked and allow you to see what rooms are available at specific times. There will two types of events, public and private. Public events will be displayed on the website and private will be for internal use only. These events will be exportable to an excel spreadsheet for internal use. PDF Newsletter Archives and Other Desired Data- An area will store previous newsletters so site visitors can browse them at their convenience. Sermon and Classes Audio Archives- An area will store audio of sermons and classes so site visitors can browse them at their convenience. These need to be able to be imported directly into Itunes as it is now on the site. E-commerce- An e-commerce system will be put in place to allow you to sell products from your extensive bookstore in a secure environment. Online Donations - The site will be capable of collecting donations from Parishioners online. They will be able to simply enter credit card details and give a donation in a very safe and secure environment. This can be done using Paypal or your merchant account.
