Our client is an authorized 'Distributor' for medical diagnostics laboratory equipment for pediatric use. Web site to be built will be a mix of an information site with a 'Place your order' page where customers will be expected to select what they need to buy, create a shopping cart and pay online (E Commerce). Client deals in medical diagnostic equipments used by biochemistry labs. So there are instruments (expensive, and therefore may or may not be sold online - which is why the reference to the site being also an information site) AND consumables (reagents, diluent, strips, solvents etc. - which will be sold online). There are about 6 equipments each being a page. Consumables appear to be up to 50 in number (shopping cart listing) Client validated content will be provided for by us. So also will be images and graphics. CMS (preferably Joomla) to be adopted as there could be frequent changes to rates and products. Development partner selected will be expected to be intuitive and full of ideas on how site information can be best presented so the end objectives (customer acquisition for the Company) are met. There will be ample time (1 week) for you to ask questions and seek clarifications, so we are not looking for who beats the other on a quote or the timing. We are looking at quality of the overall quote, your experience and the proposal. This is not a huge project and really simple to execute.
