FrontPage Website

A small-business start-up requires a very simple website : this is to be compiled using MS FrontPage 2002 . The domain name (.com) for the business has been registered and a host server arranged. Initially, this site will consist of a home page, 2 pages of text outlining product range / descriptions, 2 table pages (to be printed by customers) and a contact facility (for customers to send emails). All data for compiling pages, and their design, will be provided to a coder in the form of MS Word or MS Excel files : the only graphic to be incorporated is an MS WordArt logo. An additional table page enabling customers to email orders is to be provided as part of this project but this will not, initially, be incorporated into the website. Coder will be expected to use experience / expertise to advise upon / incorporate / action website security features. There is no requirement for any customer payment mechanism to be incorporated into this website. There is no requirement for the website to be search-engined, hyperlinked or otherwise promoted. The website will not be an online store : target customers are in a limited geographical area and the marketing and delivery of, and payment for, products will not be web-based. The finalization of the project will be the installation of the site onto the host server by the coder and satisfactory testing of its specified functionality. Several pages on this site will require to be updated on a weekly basis. If a coder were willing to act as webmaster for a reasonable monthly fee then scheduled, weekly updates / changes / amendments / additions would be provided by way of MS Word and MS Excel files. I am a skilled practitioner in the specification / implementation / installation / operation of enterprize-level accounting systems and have excellent Excel and basic Word skills. In committing myself full-time to establishing a new business (at age 55) outwith my core skills and experience I do not wish to master a new MS application which will have time-sensitive implications to its operation. Simply put, I prefer to pay reasonable fees to avoid hassle and time-commitment.
