We have a web-based application that synchronizes with Microsoft Outlook. We are looking for a company that will test this synchronization process and insure that the application synchronizes properly with MS Outlook 2000 stand-alone MS Outlook 2002 stand-alone MS Outlook 2003 stand-alone MS Outlook 2000 with MS Exchange Server MS Outlook 2002 with MS Exchange Server MS Outlook 2003 with MS Exchange Server This will involve testing the syncronization of Tasks, Appointments, Contacts and the WAB (Windows Address Book) between MS Outlook and our application. We require that you document the exact tests you perform, and that you perform testing in a logical and organized fashion. We will pay a bonus of $5 for every bug you find and document. You MUST meet the following requirements in order to bid on this job. If you do not meet the requirements, please do not waste your time or our time by bidding. REQUIREMENTS: 1) you must already have the following environments available for testing, or you must be willing to setup each of the environments described above. 2) You must have experience testing software and know how to document your tests properly and clearly. 3) You must have a fast internet connection (greater than 300kb/sec) -------------- The system is not known to have many bugs. However, some users are reporting that the synchronization process crashes their browsers. We need to know exactly what cases cause a crash to occur. We will be providing an application that keeps log files of every synchronization. If a crash, bug, or problem occurs, it may show up in the log file. Your job will be to document what you did that caused the bug, error, or crash, and send the log files to our engineers for review. The testing will be iterative, meaning you will test, report bugs, and then re-test once we have delivered a fix to insure that the bug was resolved. If you do a good job testing this component, we will consider hiring you to test our entire application, which would be an even bigger project worth more money. If your company is capable of writing online help documentation, that is another area we may ask for your help as a separate project. Ideally, we would like the company that tests our product to be the company that writes our documentation. However, this is optional and not a requirement.
