RSS in .HTML page question

this is just a question I need answered. Is it possible to insert an rss feed into a .html page on my website without using javascript? I want to use the .html extension rather than .php I know you can server-parse php as html, but I am already using server-parsing of shtml files and don't think I can parse both php and shtml into HTML (by changing .htaccess code) Hope you understand my question and provide an answer! Ideally, I would like a way to just change the .htaccess code to parse .php into HTML, but keep in mind, it must also be able to parse shtml because I make abundant use of SSI files in my site such as for example: my current .htaccess file looks like this: Options Includes AddType text/html .html AddHandler server-parsed .html AddHandler server-parsed .htm And I know to do the same to php files I would use an .htaccess file that looks: AddType application/x-httpd-php htm html But combining them so that I can parse all types I can't figure out! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
