Drupal Theme Project

Basic outline of this project objectives: - Make a fresh Drupal install, latest version - Install custom site theme (HTML/CSS is already completed for you) - Install a Photo Gallery module - Setup Taxonomy & User Roles - Simple image/file attachment feature for story posts - WC3 Validated, cross browser compatibility for all major browsers (the HTML/CSS provided is already clean, tabless WC3 validated & cross browser compatible) - Complete by Tuesday, October 7 (preferably sooner) There are many pages in this site, but all very basic. You can view a static demo featuring the completed HTML/CSS and basic content at the following link: [login to view URL] Note: Calendar and Weather features not required even though they are shown in the sidebar. Very basic Drupal site. The site domain & all HTML/CSS will be provided when your bid is accepted. To summarize for you, here are the three main desired features of the site: A) Photo Gallery: You'll notice a photo gallery page at: [login to view URL] I've left this page blank because you can choose whichever photo gallery module you want to use. It should be very basic, with tag based categorization & your typical upload / delete, title and description administration functions. B) Taxonomy & Member Roles setup You'll notice there are "Club Sections". Each of these sections will have members that are able to post stories to their corresponding section. These users will not have the ability to edit or post stories in other sections (unless their roles/permissions have been set to override this). When a story is posted within a Club section (for example the "Youth Ski") - the story should show up in that section, but also it is aggregated to the front page. This means the front page will summarize all recent posts in every section, while each individual club section will only show the posts that have been made by members in that section (this can be simplified as you see fit). C) Attachments for New Story posts There should be an easy way for users to upload attachments to Story posts. When an image is attached, it should automatically show in the body of the story. And when a document is uploaded, such as a PDF, it should show up as a download link at the end of the story. These three features are essentially the bulk of the project, in addition to installing Drupal, and coding the theme based on the provided HTML/CSS. You will find this is an easy project. Timeframe is within 7 days The deadline is Tuesday, October 7. I would prefer to see this earlier by possible, such as by Friday or Saturday. I will be promptly available to answer any questions you have to ensure the project meets the deadline. Do not take on this project if you are going to be on holidays next week. Budget for this project is about $400 - $600. In addition, after this main project is complete, there will likely be some additional customizations required. You will be compensated for any extra work involved beyond the scope of this project description.
