Rails Events System

We are looking for a Ruby on Rails developer to build a module for a Rails App for displaying an events calendar to users. We will provide the a base project that includes two user roles, admin and user. Project will also include Twitter Bootstrap CSS to use for the UI and jQuery. ADMIN ROLE We require backend functionality for all CRUD operations for managing events. Event posts consists of: - Title (Text field) - Location (text field) - Start Date + Time - End Date + Time - All day checkbox that hides the start and end times - Description (lightweight WYSIWYG editor) USER ROLE Homepage/dashboard: Create a widget that lists the next 5 upcoming events. Each event in the list should show: Date, Title and start time. Events Page: A separate page with a month calendar view. Clicking on an event should direct user to details page that displays all the details of the event. Technologies we require you to use: - Sass or Scss - Haml templating language - Rails 3.2.7+ - Ruby 1.9.3 - jQuery + any plugins necessary - MySQL We prefer that you deploy to the app to Heroku for testing.
