I am very proficient in c, c++. I have 15 years c++ developing experience now, and I have worked for 5 years. My work is online game developing, and mainly focus on server side, the lauguage is c++ under linux os. So, programming in c++ is never a problem. I used c++ to make many great projects, for example, I made the tools which can convert java files to c++ with the same meaning, of course garbage collection included. I made our own mobile game using c++, I even can show you the demo of client. Trust me, please let expert help you.

While your requirement is to develop a retail solution as a desktop application, I require you to kindly mention which platform this solution will be based on(like windows, linux or platform independent). I'm inclined towards developing this solution as JAVA based web oriented application, as it is platform independent and cost effective (you can deploy it in a low cost linux machine using only opensource technology). You also have a choice of developing the solution using Microsoft Windows technology, but you will have to stick to windows machine entirely. Hi Bitoto. I have completed many projects including POS. So I have a pretty good idea of what you are looking for. Unfortunately your budget is a bit low with respect to all the modules that you want. You can check my portfolio for the sample projects. I will write the code in Vb.net and will use MS Access 2003 for keeping the database. The reason for choosing these softwares is that they are very fast and can run on very low spec machines as well. And will be using Crystal Reports for generating reports according to your requirements. And to be honest I am not very good in designing so I'll hire somebody to design all the pretty layouts.
