It is my understanding that the goal of this project is to compile a test program included within the API, using DrJava. I have had experience creating and compiling programs using externals packages in Java using Eclipse. While DrJava is a different IDE, I've read some information regarding this specific topic and they have almost identical methodologies. For this project I plan on first opening the API documentation and extracting the test project. Next I will open DrJava and open the test project that is in the API. Afterwards, I plan on adding the package and documenting each step exactly as I do it. Once I have successfully compiled a project I will start from scratch using all of my steps accordingly to assure accuracy in my work. Once I have assured everything works correctly, I will contact you with detailed instructions on how to run the test project. You can obviously ask me any questions that you have with my work. Hi, Since you say you are new to Java, I'd suggest you not to waste your time with "lightweight" IDEs and install Eclipse which is an absolutely free professional IDE.
