VOIP & VIDEO CHAT (Java or C++)

We need a secure backdoorless chat server and client software where the server would be preferably running on linux and clients for windows and mac. server should be written so, that making future app-s for different mobile platforms would be simple and would need no changes made on the server side. All the code has to be commented and done using test driven development techniques (Unit testing) Use of open source platforms is recommended. The contractor will also be involved in all the future developments for this software. Requirements for the software are: *Privacy Privacy, privacy! We need an encrypted connection between clients (be it through a server or p2p) best would be to use PGP(Pretty good privacy) and the client always has to ensure and be sure that the current conenction is safe and no one is interfering. *Voice and text chat preferably with XMPP *Contact lists *Video chat *Group conversations with all of the above (messaging, voice & video) *Easy to use and understand Graphical user interface *All messages should be stored on the server and about a month of conversations stored within the client, for later viewing.
