I am very flexible and easy to work with. I am even more interested in hearing your ideas to improve the final application. I expect a smart developer will have more ideas than I do and I would be happy to hear your ideas to make a better product. My initial customer base is for a volunteer teaching [login to view URL] of our kids are underpriviledged and so this will be a free app for them. While I will require all rights to the product I will also guarantee a 5% royalty on all sales should the product be well recieved and suitable for marketing elsewhere. I want an app that can be downloaded to a desktop or tablet at a minimum, and to smart phone as well, if possible. But if the price is prohibitive for all that we can stick to a product for desktops only. The purpose of the application is to enhance and improve a student's experience memorizing literary quotes. My initial concept design is that a library of quotes would be loaded to a program that can also be placed in sub-libraries. For example, there might be 200 quotes from English or Japanese or African authors but a sub library would list them by each author. I envision that the student can then chose a quote and the app will show the text and read it aloud. In this way the student reads, hears and speaks the quote with the program. once the student has read, heard and spoken the quote several times the student can then click on the number "1" and one word will be hidden or disappear. In this way the student again recites the quote but verbally fills in the missing word. Each time he/she clicks the number "1" again a different word is hidden. When the student is confortable with the quote with only one word hidden, he/she can then click on "2" and the same process repeats. This will continue until the maximum number of words in the quote are hidden and the student then knows the quote. Lastly, when the student is ready, he/she can be tested by either typing or speaking into blank spaces to prove he/she memorized the entire quote. If it is correct he/she will win points. Just so you know, we do all this manually now and then reward the students by letting them trade points for prizes. I would like to be able to track completed quotes and points by person.
