We are planning a website for our new business and looking for some high quality keywords that we can work with in the design/scripting stage. May lead to longer term SEO works. [login to view URL] is a new start video marketing business that creates marketing and communication videos for businesses and organisations in the UK. Our USP is that we treat video as a means to an end goal, rather than treating the video as the goal. Our process involves a great deal of time in the planning and strategy of what needs to be achieved, which usually leads naturally to the content requirements and artistic direction. We would like to hear from SEO specialists who can offer us keyword research for our own site but who we might also be able to work with for client sites in the future. Hi I work at one of the larger SEO agencies in the UK but also freelance as well. I've performed extensive keyword research on a wide variety of industries/ sectors and have access to all the tools required to perform comprehensive keyword research. I have placed an example in my portfolio so you can see the metrics I will be looking at. I will provide a document that lists all keywords and their synonyms placed in keyword groups that will allow you to avoid keyword cannabalisation across pages. I will provide current search volumes in the UK or globally, identify the number of competing results for all keywords as well as identify gaps in the market where quick wins can be achieved. If the site is currently indexed and receiving traffic, and tracked in Google Analytics, I can also tell you which keywords have a better organic click through rate and which provide the greatest potential in terms of traffic increases. From this data I will provide a recommended keyword distribution for the website and also identify opportunities for you to add new content to the site that would result in additional keyword traffic. If link building will take place after all the initial onsite optimisation has been performed, I can also advise on which keywords should be targeted in the short term vs those that will require a more sustained effort. This will allow you to pick up quick wins whilst waiting for more competitive keywords to kick in. If you are planning to pursue a content strategy, via an onsite blog for instance, I can also provide a list of long tail keywords perfect for targeting with blog posts.
