Create Single Database Solution with multiple tables written for compatibility for File Maker Pro v9.0.v1.
The database should be structured around individual users. Security is very important.
Users create “Facility Incident Reports” (FIR) and “Serious Facility Incident Reports” (SFIR) these are bound to the user and are not viewable by anyone else but a reporting officer aka User.
(Example if Doug Smith creates an Incident Report, LeAnn Rogers cannot view it.)
Each person logs in and creates an IR they are given a IR Number (any Number)
(Internally an auto number, Created/Modified and Date Stamp are created)
.
The Primary Form will be "FACILITY INCIDENT [login to view URL]" form included.
The Secondary Form will be "SERIOUS FACILITY INCIDENT [login to view URL]" form included.
Hierarchal Overview
User – data entry, archived file access, and printing. Can only view their own reports.
Captain – data entry, archived file access, printing & can view ALL Incident Reports as well as : Internal Auto IR numbering/ "Created/Modified by *******" " & Date Created/Modified *****" are viewable.
Administrator – Full access
Users - log into a database with a username and password. (Data entry and simple queries & printing)
Create a sample reports showing monthly FIR, SFIR report counts.
Logistics:
Every field needs to have its own table as it may be referenced later for statistical data.
(Example – How many reports did Doug Smith generate during this month?)
(Example – How many SFIR‘s referenced DEATH during 2009?)
