Hi,
I need some help to setup a small Linux VPN Gateway that supports IPSec/L2TP and pure IPSec connections.
I have medium experience with Linux, which means you will not need to deal with noob questions...
Specs:
A Xen HVM vServer environment with all kind of Linux distros that can be installed (19 in total). Ubuntu or Debian is preferred, but not a must.
You will have a fresh/clean installation. Customized Kernels are possible. TUN/Tap Support etc. available. Webmin etc. can be installed if you prefer to use an admin GUI. VNC access in case of problems possible.
Project:
1. Setup CA to use self signed x.509 certificates
2. Install and setup openSWAN and xl2tpd (or similar) for L2TP over IPSec connections (roadwarrior config. - clients are Macbooks, Windows Machine, iPad/iPhone) AND pure IPSec connections (LAN-LAN to HW Router with built in VPN client)
3. Create L2TP User and each a PSK and a x.509 ipsec identity for testing of the VPN gateway
4. Iptables configuration
5. Write a brief documentation of the setup steps (config files, network configuration etc.) and how I can add new L2TP Users + PSK and x509 ipsec identities
Please don't hesitate to ask me, if you need more details.
Happy bidding.
Cheers.
