Hi there I need to create a login for an access database and filter certain tables based on the login name, the database is being desgined in version 2010 but the final product will be converted to 2007. I will give you a senario of the outcome I am looking for. A user logs on with a department name and password, a switchboard with links to various reports will now open for the user, the user can click on any report, BUT the underlying tables to those reports will only show data for their department. I have attached sample user login details and the second sheet in the excel file is a sample table. Here is what I need.
1. For all this to be possible without macros, if thats possible
2. User login feature(I already have the login names)
3. when the user logs on, some tables will be filtered for that user
4. Project needs to be completed in 3 days
