What I need or require:
A clean, cool and very very user friendly web design.
What I already have versus what the provider will deliver:
I have: I already have a specification that describes the functionality of the website. It is in essence, a social networking website with a lot of add-ons.
I need: to design the detailed visuals as well as the detailed flow of the website.
Other context/requirements that providers will need to know:
The contractor will need to be a brilliant and creative designer who can take a functional specification and,
a) convert it into a a very cool, appealing, easy to use and appealing web design;
b) convert it into a work-flow (wireframe) and show how the screens will appear and flow, the menu system and navigation through the normal process as well as the 'error' process.
Specific expertise/background that I am seeking:
Design: Fantastic creativity, needs to bring the ‘wow’ and ‘cool’ factors to the design, a good eye for intuitive and user-friendly design, simplicity, uncluttered, clean.
Please note: The portfolio of past work submitted must show an eye for exceptional and cool user friendly design AND the ability to design a really user friendly wireframe.
Wireframe: Navigation intuitive and simple, all functional requirements fulfilled in the wireframe, all error conditions catered for.
Timeframe for delivery:
2 months.
NDA:
The shortlisted proposals will be requested to sign an NDA before the project is discussed further.
Engagement Process:
The process is:
a) A shortlist formed from responding suppliers,
b) the shortlisted providers contacted to sign the NDA,
c) A skype meeting agreed and held,
d) by Monday 25th April, the winning proposal notified and hired.

Thanks for the responses so far. I will be making my mind up on the shorlisted proposals and commence discussions by Thursday 21st. There is still time to accept more proposals. Please note, however, that the portfolio of past work submitted must show an eye for exceptional and cool user friendly design AND the ability to design a really user friendly wireframe.
Thank you,
Riaz
