282656 set cookie registration WP

i would like for people to register on my site and after they registered be automatically logged in, but this is not possible by default in wordpress. i think that a cookie must be set after the registration contaning the user name and password. somenthing like this: setcookie (userid,password, etc). by default: 1- you register 2- then your are taken to the login page 3- and finally you end up at the WP dashboard 4- then you have to click "visit site" to be taken back to the website what i need 1- Registration 2- logged in and back to any page they were surfing before registering i have several other projects, please contact me to discuss them website: [login to view URL] thanks Martin
