Website for small hotel in Colombia

20.3.2011 - Will select someone in due course. No new bids required unless Colombian coders. We need a fairly simple website, with photos and text. There are 8 pages in English and 8 in Spanish, with a homepage in both languages. Some of the pages haev a lot of descriptive text. The site should have SEO friendly URLS. It needs to be light and quick (many of our customers have poor internet connections so no heavy flash please). It needs to be easy for us to change the photos and text, a clean and professional looking site. EDIT: Only the front-end template will be necessary, thus there is no requirement from the coder to know PHP. The final deliverable will be design template in XHTML, CSS and jQuery/JS for the landing/home page, plus 2 different sub pages, thus 3 different layouts of the template in total. I will also require certain styles defined in accordance with the rest of the design, although not used, for instance form elements for contact form. Because the website will be lightweight we will NOT be using any open source CMS, such as Joomla, Drupal etc. and requirement is for fully working template. I will send layout diagrams to the interested bidders, and would like to see some basic design proposals. Cross-browser compatibility should be given (all major browsers, and given the website audience including full support for IE 6), as well as w3c standards (XHTML strict) and get as much SEO in as possible. Generally I am looking for someone with up-to-date skills in (X)HTML, CSS, javascript, AJAX and jQuery. Lastly please note that you will need to both design the template and then implement it into HTML page.
