jQuery cookie help needed

I want to develop a simple frontend cart using jQuery cookie. All I need is to save the products ID's in the cart as an object. Something like $.cookie('cart' , '12,17,22' ) - just an idea What I need is the easily check , add new id to this array or remove an item from that cookie object Like if I want a easy way to check if product id 17 exist in the object or not. or Very easily add a new product id to this object. or Very easily remove a product id from the object. I followed this post : [login to view URL] But could not make it work. So I need someones help. For expert people, this should be a pretty easy work.
