Floating Tab Window

I need created a cross browser compatible floating window that is displayed on the screen when a tab is clicked. There are three tab links that load different tab windows. The tab links first start on the right side of the screen (see images for examples). When a tab is clicked the window slides in from right to left into the screen. The content of the window is loaded via Ajax in an iFrame with dimensions 800x500 pixels. I don't want the content of the window loaded until the link is clicked (ie. no need to load content that is not displayed on the screen, so maybe a small loading icon needs to be displayed while the window content is loaded). Each of the three tabs use a different iFrame URL. I would also like the option that instead of tabs located on the right side of the window, that they can be located on the top of the window and slide down into view upon being clicked (see images for examples). Clicking a "X-Close" link in the floating window would slide the tabs back to their original place on the screen. I think jQuery is an strong software package so I think that would be good to use, but I am open to suggestions if you have other ideas. Since this will be added to websites by clients, it must be easy to add with minimal amount of integration steps which also lends well to jQuery.
