I have the skills you need, but I don't think this is the right way to go... There are plenty of providers out there who provide VPS' with support - so all you have to do is open a ticket and tell them what you need and they will provide this as part of the monthly subscription...
Most web developers of course know how to run a VPS and so the majority of bids you will get are from coders who will get you where you need to be for now - but is something goes wrong - they will not be able to guarantee their availability.
With the monthly subscription with the right VPS however, their tech support is on location and will be able to resolved all issues within one hour as per the SLA (Service Level Agreement) and this will in the long-run be much cheaper than calling on a freelancer when things go wrong.
I suggest you pay for a few hours of my time to look at what you need, recommend a provider that suits you and then get you setup there and leave you in good stead for the future.
My kindest regards,
Darren
