We use Osticket 1.6 ST for our helpdesk. We want to have Osticket email us a daily report telling us which tickets are open, by which user they are open and when the tickets were opened. We can work out the SQL quer to get us the data from the MYSQL database but don't know how to have this query run and email us automatically.
There is currently a cron job that is scheduled that gets Osticket to fetch emails from a mailbox to automatically create tickets and Osticket already emails us when there is a new ticket so all the components we need should already be set up.
We would like to have a job that runs once a day that will run a predefined SQL statement, formats the data into a table, and emails a single email address.
If it could be set up such that we can duplicate it and add another type of email alert with a different SQL statement that would be preferable.
Osticket is hosted externally by the same place that hosts our web site and uses a MYSQL database. We use cpanel to access our web site.
Thanks for reading.
