I have 14 years experience in Islamic & investment banking. I'm being offered a job as VP, Operations in a new "med-sized" investment bank.
My new job:
I will be in full charge of all investment bank operations, including, IPO floatation, Investment Management operations, brokerage operations, HR, Finance, Procurement, PR...etc. Every back office function or support function will report to me. I will report to the CEO.
What I need:
I need a Personal Assistant, who has excellent English language, Professional MS-Project, MS-Excel & Apple Keynote Skills, good report writing skills. A disciplined, hard - & smart - working person, who can develop an MS-Project Plan, presentation, Minutes of meeting using minimum data given & within a short period of time. Sometimes, I might need the deliverable within 24-48 hours. Experience in financial services is a plus. Knowledge of Arabic language is an extra advantage but not a must.
Types of projects:
1. Project Plans to Develop Product Manuals for firm
2. Project Plans to Improve Business Processes
3. Project Plans to Develop Pitch books for Investment Banking
4. Project Plans to Develop proper hiring & training plans for junior staff
5. Designing Ad hoc reports to show department performance compared to KPIs approved by CEO
6. Designing weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual full reports showing individual, team, department & bank-wide performance
What will I do:
1. I will email raw data scribbled, using as much info I have to initiate a project plan, you will use that data to create the MS-Project Plan in the time frame given to you. This plan will - of course - need to be modified greatly in the beginning, till approved by CEO. Modifications in later dates are always expected.
2. I will email recorded meeting sessions for you to draft the minutes of the meeting.
3. I will send manuals, reports, tabulated data to you to put it in a presentation format.
