There should be feedback every second from server to client on the state of the process via a label or string. This should be displayed to client. I have been playing with a simple MP3 player written in Delphi 10 with Firemonkey for use on my Android phone. I hope to release it as freeware in the App Store at some point. I have a scraping project... There is a landing address, from there some javascript must be executed to return the first round of details required. This page must be scanned to determine the links to be followed for subsequent pages of data. The final data extraction of this one to many page relationship does not need to be done, so long as the object can return the raw html text as would be displayed in a browser. Now for the awkward bit - I would prefer this to not be in FireMonkey - but using the VCL component set instead. Though - if it can be done no other way then I will be able to work with the result.
