I have a current Java player that talks to server to retrieve a playlist and then download the videos to play repeatedly. I need to renew the codes so it can run with latest version of Java, and update the playlist retrieve function to get the playlist from a XML returned by the web server instead of the old way. The player used to play FLV files, I need the new player to be able to play mp4, avi, wmv videos too. The player also turns on and off according to the schedule retrieved from server.
